Potato is a very special plant, it could sprout even there's

no water and soil, it has such a vigorous vitality, just like woman,

no matter how hard the situation is, they could bear it and survive

from it.

ILLSTRATION 22 - Women in Hunger,

This piece is a kind of practice of stitching, right now I'm trying a new way of embroidery, using loose line and little knots as the emphasis of the figure. I' m satisfied with the result, and it encourages me to continue, in fact, I 'd really like to draw with needle and thread.
